Singapore Study Visa

The Singapore study visa is relatively straightforward and in most cases can be applied for by the institute that accepted you hence you may not even have to visit the Consulate or Embassy of Singapore in your home country. You will, however, have to show proof that you can pay for your education to the institute where you have applied. The institute will then process your visa application directly in Singapore and when you arrive in Singapore you will have to submit your passport copies, health forms, photographs and other required documents.

Timeline For Admissions

Finalizing university

A few months after your application has been submitted, universities will get back to you with their answers. You will be notified over email or university website about the outcome of your application. We will discuss these outcomes with you in detail and keep your priorities in mind, we will arrive at the final university which you will be attending.

Apply For Relevant Documents

Once you have finalized your university, you will have to notify said university about you attending their course in the coming term. The university will send you a confirmation that will be required for you to start your visa application. You will also need several other documents like financial papers, medical certificates, bank letters, etc. for your application. We will help you prepare all these documents by providing you with samples and guidelines.

Apply For Visa
Now that you have everything ready with you, you can apply for your visa application online (SOLAR). You will need to apply for a SOLAR reference number to your university. Once you receive it, you can login to the SOLAR portal and under Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). You should do this as early as allowed as visa applications can take very long to process. We will be filling out your application form online and helping you navigate the process.
E Form 16 Submission

Under SOLAR of ICA, you need to submit eForm 16 along with a visa application fee. You will be issued a In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter after your eForm 16 application is accepted. Now you can travel to Singapore.

Singapore Study Visa

I have been accepted into SIM and needed guidance for my visa process. I had tried to apply on my own but the process seemed very complicated so I decided to look into counsellors. I searched online and found KGC. They clarified all my doubts and explained the process in detail to me. I knew it was the right place for me because the team was so helpful and always answered any questions I had at any time. I did not have to worry at all because they took care of everything.

Rishi Sawant had secured admission into Singapore Institute of Management. He came to us as he was confused about the study visa process. Through Dr. Gupta’s personalised step by step guidance, he received his study visa.
Message from Dr. Karan Gupta

The Singapore student visa system is one of the most streamlined. However to avoid problems I recommend, when you arrive you must be sure that you travel with all the required documentation so carry your eForm 16, medical report, passport and disembarkation card, and photograph.
